About Me

Hey there! My name is Isabella Baker and I am the owner of this blog! Whether it be hiking/running, going to coffee shops, hanging out with family and friends, or baking (or even more) I am always out doing something!

Here are some facts about me!

I attend the University of Mount Union in Alliance OH and am currently a junior. At Mount Union, I work 2 on campus jobs and am apart of Alpha Phi Omega. Through Alpha Phi I have gained one of my best friends and big’s Kaitlyn. Speaking of people-on my blog you might see me accompanied by the people who I wouldn’t be here without today: my family, Sophia, Sarah, Kaitlyn, and many others.

My goal is to study abroad in Spain specifically Bilbao or Madrid and not only write about my experience but also film it and same with my upcoming trip to Bermuda and one with Sanibel Island FL (an island I’ve gone to for 15 or so years). My epic project is officially posted:

I live in Summit County and have practically been all over especially in Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, and Akron.

I haven’t been to a lot of places but at the same time, I’ve been to many lol. I’m very fortunate. Places include but not limited to: Sanibel Island Florida, NYC, Indianapolis, Haiti (years ago on a cruise), Colorado Springs, Cincinnati, etc. But very very soon that list will expand (now that I have freedom of a car in college haha).

Bella, why did you start this blog?

Well, plain and simple. COVID. I was 16 and had a mid-life crisis and started making a bucket list that has kept growing to now well over 3,000 things. I was tired of being crammed at home for a year and the way I stayed hopeful was looking at places beyond OH and the US. Finally, after a year of thinking about it and overcoming the fear of what people thought of me…I started this blog by combining the two things I love to do most: write and travel.

Since I was young, I’ve loved to write. After the school-year, I would keep every subject notebook to write in the blank pages. I would write about my day, a fictional story, anything.

I want to create a career out of travel and yes, I know it takes lots of time, but I believe by keeping the motivation of sharing all my travels to motivate you to travel more and to live more…I will.
