- Drink Tried: Bourbon Caramel Truffle Latte and Egg and Cheese on English Muffin
On the way to Maumee Bay, I knew I wanted to hit up a coffee shop near Toledo. This one was open and the menu looked terrific.
I walked into the white building with a wrap around porch that reminded me of Stricklands back at home. The interior had lots of seating and some decor. It nearly looked like a true coffee shop but this could also be a building for an ice cream shop and, guess what, they do serve ice cream! On top of that they serve breakfast sandwiches, waffles, lunch sandwiches, and energy drinks…but I was here for coffee!
I wanted to try something different so I ordered the Bourbon Caramel Truffle Latte. It had some coconut flavoring as well.
This place is pretty hopping over the summer but when I went in…not a soul. The breakfast sandwich came out pretty fast and soon after came the drink. The flavors blended so well together and it wasn’t as sweet as I thought it was going to be. The bourbon wasn’t too strong and the coconut flavoring appeared mildly in every sip.
