My Experience

  • Things Tried: Stardust Latte and Tuscan Bagel w/ Cheese and Egg

Before we headed to the Air Force Museum, Sophia it was time for a coffee and food break. We quickly discovered parking was very limited and were lucky to find a spot.

The line was nearly going out the door when we joined it. I saw that their specialty drink was the ‘Liquid Diabetes’ special. No I’m just kidding it’s called the ‘Stardust Latte’ which is a lavender and toasted marshmallow latte topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. I also got their Tuscan bagel (herb and garlic) with egg and cheese.

We sat down at the counter and liked how their was a water container to get water. That’s what makes some coffee shops special. The interior was modern but not overly. The demographic here was early to late 20’s.

My drink came first and my first taste was light with the whipped cream then after that it was just super super strong lavender. Almost un-drinkable. I sucked it up and drank 3/4’s of it before…which is UNHEARD OF…I threw it away.

My breakfast sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had. The bagel was incredibly soft and I could taste the herb and garlic. My egg was thick and cheese perfectly melted. I enjoyed every bite. From my previous research of this place this is THE place for coffee in Dayton so if I’m back in the area for whatever reason, I’m definitely getting a different drink!
