On a morning on my way to the courthouse I decided I’d walk to Muggswigz which is about a 10 minute walk. Once I got to the block I needed to be on. It took a little bit of walking back and forth to find it. Muggswigz isn’t entirely visible if you aren’t looking for it.
I walked in and there was one guy working (super shy and quiet but helpful). I didn’t know what to get as it was my first time. “What is a good specialty drink?” I asked and he helped with telling me the sweet v. unsweetened drinks. He told me the Fuzzywig was good. The Fuzzywig was a vanilla and caramel latte with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. He also told me the Vanilla Cloud would be good. I was leaning toward the Vanilla Cloud but once he told me how sweet it was I went for the Fuzzywig.
While I was waiting for my drink I looked around the room. I don’t want to say I particularly liked how it was setup (it just seemed too spacious and empty). It was okay…just okay.
I received my drink and the taste was divine. Both the vanilla and caramel combined to form a smooth, rich taste that I will say made me feel fuzzy (in a good way lol). I enjoyed every sip (I got this hot by the way). I just wish the atmosphere of Muggswigz was as fabulous as the Fuzzywig. There’s another Muggswigz on the Drip Drive so maybe I will get the Vanilla Cloud then!!

If you’re ever in a hiking mood, quick fact, this Muggswigz is located 10 minutes away from Portage Lakes State Park! Anyway, it took me a little to find this one, like the last, because its sign blends in with the others and is a little worn down.
I walked in and even though the interior was much more comfy and fulfilled than the other-it was completely empty and the barista was standing there as if he was waiting for me to come in. He was extremely talkative and out of all the coffee shops he’s the best barista I’ve encountered. He told me that unfortunately, Muggswigz is always like this, slow and boring with the once in a while customer. It’s a shame because Muggswigz is pretty good!
I said before that I’d try the Vanilla Cloud-a double latte, vanilla, powdered cinnamon, topped with whipped cream and cinnamon. The cloud part, I guess, comes from the foamy top part which was light and fluffy and full of flavor. The vanilla and cinnamon mixed so well and made me want to sit, lay back, and enjoy this wonderful creation. Every sip was delicious and wasn’t too sweet!
