On a day of absolutely doing nothing I decided I’d try out a new coffee shop. I’d never heard of this place until the Drip Drive.
The shop is in the basement of a building and when I walked in I was immediately greeted with ‘hello.’ The place was small but it was full of people, plants, and art. Immediately I enjoyed it. I walked up to the counter and asked what the cashier would recommend. He sounded so enthusiastic about the products and pointed out his personal favorites which were the Dark Chocolate Latte and the Blue Dream (butterfly pea flower, lavender syrup, and whole milk). It was a tea latte. So…I went with that. Of course, hesitantly, because I’m not a huge tea fan.
“Blue Dream comin’ right up!” He said.
I sat down on one of the couches and went on my phone waiting for my name to be called. The gentleman that took my order came and served me my drink. The drink was bright blue! It reminded me of that Avatar milk at Disneyworld. The little girl who was sitting with her mom was like, “woah, look mom!”
He explained to me how there were no dyes and that this was au natural. The drink was SO GOOD! I enjoyed every sip. You could tell it was tea and the lavender taste was strong too. To me, it was a summer vibes (maybe even spring-y) kinda drink.
I wanted food and I saw most people were getting this raspberry oat bar. They served that (warm) to me too. I took it home and ate it on a plate with a fork because it was messy lol.
I was very impressed with this coffeeshop and was an exemplary role model other coffeeshops should follow. They also have a free water station and they also made conversation with me for a couple minutes at the counter (with a line behind me). Best coffee shop I’ve ever been to thus far!
