- Things Tried: Clementine Cookie and Carousel Caramelatta
After visiting the Mansfield Reformatory, I decided to try a coffee shop nearby: Relax, it’s just coffee. The name sounded enticing so off I went. The cafe also has a bakery. Once I walked in I immediately felt as if I walked back into Angel Falls: the hippie vibe that served both coffee and baked goods.
There was a line inside and I could tell this place was popular. I decided to try the clementine cookie (I do like orange flavored pastries) and the carousel caramelatta-which is a caramel latte. I got it iced. I have a feeling they put the name carousel in after I walked past a blaring one on the way here.
The service was good but the things I got were average. The drink tasted like a Starbucks Caramel Macchiato and the cookie was semi-dry but the orange flavor made the cookie taste a little higher than acceptable.
Would I come here again? Only if I were in the area but, then again, I’ll most likely try a new coffee shop in Mansfield.
