My Experience
- Things Tried: Red Velvet Cheesecake Iced Latte and Churro Donut
On the second day of my SE OH road trip I decided I’d try a new coffee shop. This coffee shop is nestled in between downtown-esque buildings across from the Ohio River and West Virginia.
I walked in and the places was packed with people still coming in through the doors. This is the most amount of people (if not, a close second) I’ve seen in a coffee shop I’ve visited. I loved the interior as it gave a riverside vibe especially with the brick walls.
The menu was extensive and the barista recommended a Valentine’s Day menu flavor. I went with the Red Velvet Cheesecake Iced Latte and a Churro Donut (they have lots of bakery items). If you’re not into coffee they have smoothies and frozen hot chocolates. They also have quiche’s, breakfast sandwiches, different types of toasts, etc. On top of that is also an assortment of donuts.
After I placed my order and went to tip, I accidentally switched the tablet to Japanese. It was embarrassing but funny lol.
Once I got my drink and donut I got back to my car to taste and head on to the next state park (Lake Hope). The donut isn’t a regular size but rather near mini. It was full of cinnamon and tasty but on the dry side. The latte was good. Not great but good. I got more cheesecake flavor and the red velvet was here and there. It was a unique flavor to try but if I come here again I don’t think I’d get this flavor a second time.
