First Time

  • Drink Tried: Polar Freeze

I got two close friends (Sophia and Sarah) of mine to come with me on a hot May night to Therapy Ice Cream and Coffee-2 things I love. Parking is very limited. There’s parking spaces in front of the shop; however, if you back up to leave that parking space you’ll already be in the road. Once I saw there was parking in the rear I ‘noped’ out of the front into the back of the building where there were about 10 lots (very tightly together). The building was quaint and very upkept. It was two stories with their second story having a porch.

My friends and I went around to the front and into the main ordering area/2nd story. It was of average size with about 5 tables to sit. There were some families there. The staff was super friendly and very welcoming. So many flavors and varieties. The item that caught my eye other than the Fat Elvis flavored ice cream was the Polar Freeze-an espresso, cold brew, or iced coffee blended with your choice ice cream. Best of both worlds. I asked the server what she recommended and she said the cold brew with espresso ice cream blended into it. I did just that.

It was so f-ing good. The texture was super smooth (not nearly as thick as other shakes) and creamy which to me was surprising because it was just ice cream and cold brew but I guess I was just expecting something different. It was just so delightful. I enjoyed every sip and the creamy coffee taste is pure perfection for any coffee lover or addict like me that needs to have it in dessert form. Mm Mm Mm!

Sophia got the cookie monster shake and Sarah got the blueberry cheesecake shake and both said it was excellent. The service was impeccable-at one moment one of the staff came up to us and asked if we needed ice water-which I would never expect one to do. We were a little shocked but enjoyed that they did that and it made us want to come back.

The first floor was still being furnished but still had cute, quaint decor. We sat on the 2nd story porch and the view was decent, moreover, it had that “tree house in barn form” quote by Sarah. They had a little long table with the stand being a bicycle. We thought that was unique in a good way.

Overall, we though the place was stellar and we definitely will be returning!
